Nuremberg Diary

Holy shit, this book is great. This is like a completely different face of the Nazis. I'm only on page 89, too. It's fun reading about what they now think of Hitler (there's a pattern that those who have a chance to make it out alive tend to hate Hitler more), what they think of Germany ("Germany needed Lebensraum. If you had given us one colony, you would not have heard of Hitler." - Ribbontrop).. it's just very fascinating.

Haha. After Ribbontrop got done bitching about Germany needing more land (Ribbontrop seems to be the one of the only ones who's still completely wrapped up in the Nazi ideal), the doctor mentioned atomic energy. He mentioned that if Hitler hadn't waged war and just waited, Germany would have acquired the atom bomb just as soon as anybody. Ribbontrop obviously had never thought about this possibility.
