I just picked it up and I'm sort of getting into it. But I'm not sure if I'm into it enough to keep reading. Anyone finish at least the first book? Because I have no idea if I want to keep going with it or not.

They're...not so hot.  Read the Amber series by Roger Zelazny.

Amber series is good. I'll vouch, read through them several times.
