2. Rowling only seems overrated since her crap has been hypermarketed. If her marketing machine didn't exist and her books got normal market penetration, she wouldn't need to make the list. We'd also have to place Anne Rice into the same category.
3. Robert Jordan. He's right up there in suckage with Kevin J. Anderson.
4. Isaac Asimov. Look, I know the man was smart. I also know he wrote about 400 books. But his writing is only OK. As a technical writer he was only good, and we should leave it at that.
5. Stephen King. Again, just because some fuckhole is popular and makes all the important retail lists, does NOT make him a good (much less great) writer.
