how come you never see any black people reading books? it's because books are written by racists who make them too hard for us black ppl to read.

Common Black culture is highly anti-intellectual, and when you wander inward towards the more intellectual parts, there is a prevailing attitude that most intellectualism is driven by Whites.  That means that Blacks who want to learn anything have a double barrier in place even before they start.

I saw a white guy reading the autobiography of Malcom X once, but never a black guy.
