I never got as far as that, I have to admit. Got stuck somewhere in the middle of When The Devil Dances. But reading this now, I'll probably finish it after I've got through the current to-read pile.
My problem with it was that the overall storyline moved rather slow, and that even half a decade after the war started there were still totally incompetent REMFs in positions of power. Seemed a bit ludicrous to me, but who knows, I never was in any military.
I'll keep Kildar in mind for when the current load of Asher and Stross lying aroung here has vanished.
