Can we all email moot asking him to do something about this spam please? Even if it is just the 10 or so people that frequent this board, if we all send him something he might notice and do something.
Keep it polite and keep it nice.

"Dear Moot, recently the /anime/ BBS has come under attack by some kind of spam bot that is slowly filling up every thread and causing what little discussion we had on that board to all dry up, could you please look into this matter and do something to stop the spammer?"
Something like that.

That's what a mod on IRC told me to do, it seems that the textboards are out of their jurisdiction?

The cute four to five word captcha on 4-ch and other English textboards, does it work like the real thing?

I don't think moot cares or even remembers that the text boards exist. There isn't much activity here, so it's not really surprising.
It also seems that it isn't a bot, since all threads are not getting spammed. Most likely it's someone who targets popular threads and uses a script to spam them. He'll eventually get tired of it if you just keep making new threads.
We could just make threads until the guy gets tired like >>6 is saying.
Or we could find another place to discuss our sakuga (is there any other active thread here besides that?), though I don't think there is any suitable one except /a/ threads, and that's a risk.

Other places require registering with a username
There's always anipages I guess
Eh, I guess we could. Lets just see how things goes over here for a bit longer, this thread seems to be the unofficial Arasan Appreciation thread anyway.
like someone creates a thread on /a/ and then when it dies we continue on foolz? or would we use foolz own circlejerk board?

>or would we use foolz own circlejerk board?
I think this is the idea.
Or someone could ask Woxxy to create a text board..

/foolz/ is full of tripfags and shitposters from /a/. How about some other imageboard?

We can migrate to another textboard, they are only spamming /anime/. I don't think anyone over at, I don't know, /img/ would have a problem, especially since virtually nobody goes over there.

I get the feeling that we'll never be able to agree on where to go

That might be the best idea so far. I guess /carcom/ and /tele/ are almost anime related.

Do threads on /foolz/ get deleted?

We can just use this thread as a makeshift sakuga thread to test the waters, if it doesn't get spammed we're good I think.
Anyone knows the staff for SSY #17? Storyboard was pretty solid.
I was pretty impressed with Ogura's work on episode 4, but he also worked on 7 and 9 which were pretty weak episodes in terms of visuals. Yamato being the episode director might have made the difference, he is assistant director on the show after all. SSY #17 was a strong episode, and 18 looks just as crisp in the preview. Is Ishihama finally pulling out all the stops?
