Believe me; I don't like the Mahou Shoujos that solve everything using frilly beams, "friendship is magic" and shit, but Madoka was something else.
<spoiler> It was crude, twisted and plot-driven. I assure you they didn't even have filler episodes where they go to the beach or have a cultural festival etc etc </spoiler>
They're not 100 reasons, but they're still what makes Madoka different enough to make me watch it.
