I prefer dubs actually. Then I can spend my time actually watching the anime itself instead of taking my eyes away from the art and reading text at the bottom.
dubs if they're available, but subs don't turn me off. be wary of watching dubs until they end, and switching to subs for the same series, allen walkers voice goes from manly in the dub to that of a teenage girl in heat in the sub.

Some dubs I think are good, like Gurren Lagann, Haruhi, and the majority of adult swim animes, but then there's just terrible dubs like Clannad's dub.
