Animu club stories

So my school has an anime club meeting. Should I go and see if they're doing anything decent to offer? I don't plan on joining but I think I might end up trolling them if they have shit taste. I don't particularly want to reveal my powerlevel either. What do I do anons? Also post your own animu club stories.

Fuck the anime clubs. I checked it out a few times at my school aside from the annoying weebos they were all walking caricatures of "otakus."

I understand some of them want to  make anime their lifestyle but WTF can't someone just enjoy watching animes and leave it at that. No I don't want to order Natuto head bands and get the fuck out of here with your pocky sticks. They're chocolate covered pretzels not the cure for cancer.

More seriously the club in our school was real anal about carrying conversations during anime viewings. I was under the impression that this was a social club met to organize people with similar interests, but they showed animes almost the entire time and that was my largest problem with them.

TL;DR anime clubs take themselves too seriously so I joined the Go club instead
