The Umineko VN is one of the greatest I've ever played. Hands down the best BGM I've ever heard.

The anime tried but fell flat on its face. Anyone who hasn't played the VN and severely enjoys the anime is fucked in the head.

I haven't read the visual novel, but I thought the anime was decent. Confusing as fuck and had a lot of moments where I felt they left something out that would have been important, but still I enjoyed it.
