what's the deal with the "weeaboo" hate?

>50% of 4chan is in some way related to japan. this is the best haven for japanophiles i've ever seen. Why the hate?

I think people don't hate Japan, just the weeaboos themselves. they kinda cause a bad image to those that dig japanese stuff, I really like japanese music, some anime and lots of manga, but if I tell everyone they'll associate me with the losers that don't have a girl, even though I'm in a stable relationship for 2 years, thanks a lot, weeaboos.
