what's the deal with the "weeaboo" hate?

>50% of 4chan is in some way related to japan. this is the best haven for japanophiles i've ever seen. Why the hate?

I know the real definition of weeaboo since I am a ethnic Japanese citizen.
Weeaboo- word created by Americans on 4chan who make themselves feel better even though they fit RIGHT in the same category as what they would call a weeaboo.
Apparently to them, weeaboos are people who like Japanese things and try to do anything Japanese style. So apparently, a chef from America making a bento box is immediatly labled a weeaboo. Best logic 4chanfags.
Idk what a weeaboo is but I guess what I would call "embarassing" is someone who says thing like kawaii and baka baka desu followed by english that makes no sense.
If you like manga and anime, learn basic Japanese language, and do things like eat with chopsticks on certain occasions, you aren't a "weeaboo". You are a person who enjoys the culture or habits of a distant country.
Sigh 4chan fags too dumb.
