otaku vs nerd

im sick of people saying im otaku. I insist i am just a anime game nerd but they insist im otaku.help me prove this to them.

what are the differences between otaku and nerd when both are into anime and games. please explain why you think soo.

Otaku is a derogatory term in Japan. I always lol when teenage forumfaggots say "0mg im liek sooo otaku ^______^". They're basically calling themselves pathetic nerds with no life and a burden on society. And shit, if you're going to call yourself otaku for e-penis or acceptance or whatever, make sure you're not a narutard faggot who has only watched like 5 shows.

As for me, I would call myself otaku. I have no friends and am an anime expert (seen 452+ shows completely, last completed: Seto no Hanayome).
