okay me and my friend Kaye have been talking about the one character in anime that can take down goku. he thinks no one can take down goku. i beg to differ. there is many possiblites

such as:

-the deathnote if light found out his name
- puchi puri yuushi if she used that tiara to wish him dead
- ichigo...maybe. i high maybe
- fox demon naruto.
-cloud....nah...

Well Guu can bend the will of the universe around her and so can Suzumiya-kun. However Haruhi doesn't know how to actively use her powers as of yet. Goku is strong enough to rip holes in the universe but he still manages to get killed a few times. I side with Guu due to the fact that she can do all of these powerful things whilst still being in control of her power.

To find the Chuck Norris of anime we must first find it's Bruce Lee. This is an easy guess for anyone who has seen Fist of the North Star. His name is Kenshiro. A very similar character would be Ryu from Street Fighter which would make Ken the Chuck Norris of anime. This is because they are close in stature in a lot of people's regards just like their counterparts.

One dark spell from Dark Schneider can decimate entire galaxies.
And he has his "Dispel Bound" barrier, which is composed of almost a hundred different forcefields, each one strong enough to take on a nuclear blast (or, one of said spells earlier).
Plus it protects from everything, ranging from the common cold, psychic influence, to biological weapons and nuclear strikes.
And the forcefields regenerate instantly, so him and his opponents must cast thousands of said spells in less than a second just to break thru their defenses.

Plus he moves at light speed (or at least, fast enough that he's invisible to a normal angel). This is a wizard who fights against God's Archangels, Uriel, and even Lucifer himself. He has even had his entire body vapourized to nothingness, but he still revived himself and remade his body just from pure sheer will.

If we disregard the omnipotents/gods (Haruhi, L-sama), DS is probably the most broken anime character out there. Not even Superman Prime stands a chance.

Although I also believe that the Death Note will work on Goku, since he was supposed to die due to a heart virus (accd'g to Future Trunks) which shows that he's still got enough human in him... I just wanted to point out the possibility of him being immune.

1> Goku gave his life by sending cell to heaven to save earth.
2> he gave his life to hold Raditz in place in order to kill him
But I think kid buu would be able to kill goku, Cause think about it if it wasn't for everyone from earth giving them his energy then kid buu would have killed the guy. But then again maybe Luffy can beat goku seeing how they're both strong they never give up and have amazing stamina
