Favorite Anime

This has probably been done but I do not see it on the main board so whatever.

What is your favorite anime(s).
And why, exactly?
What makes it so appealing?

The twelve kingdoms (juuni kokki)

Because it has a great story, awesome characters, nice art and no fucking lolicon or pantyshots.

Only bad thing about that anime is that it got axed after 45 episodes, but it's still totally worth it.
