Good choice. That's a great anime, but you seem to base your choice of anime on how obscure you believe it is, rather than how good it actually is.
But the Lupin III property has been producing anime since the 1980's, and the manga was in serialization for years. It's not exactly an unpopular anime/manga. The fact that it's been around for so long is testament to that. There have been many video games created based on the series. In Japan, I even saw a light gun game (like Virtua Cop) based on the series (sadly, the game sucked). The TV series has run for hundreds of episodes, and I'm sure that more people (maybe not in the United States) know about Lupin III than do about Suzumiya Haruhi, which has yet to even get remotely close to Lupin in the sheer number of episodes, much less video games or volumes of manga. Lupin III is considered a classic in Japan. A far cry from how obscure you make it out to be. Since so many people like it, does that mean it also must be horrible?
