Haruhi Episode order

I'm watching The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, and y'know the episodes are shown in anachronistic order, and episode 9 is the last episode, but it looks all sentimental, which is something I'd rather watch at the end of the series. Is there some really good reason why they put it as the ninth episode?

watch them in the order they came.. then go back and watch them chronologically.. you'll be glad you did
