Evangelion: I need answers

Ok, after reading Re-take I got curious again about this anime (I've still gotta read the official manga).
There are many questions I didn't get answered at the time I watched it. I visited wikipedia and evaotaku, but some questions are left unanswered.
I'll leave them here, please give me a source  that answers them, ok?

1. How does Seele plan to make the human instrumentability project happen?
2. How does Gendo plan to do it?
3. What would happen if an angel reached Adam? Would it work the same way if they reached Lilith? (and if not, is that why Kaworu didn't merge with Lilith, because he was looking for Adam?)
4. How the hell did Lilith get crucified? She wasn't impaled with the longinus lance until a few episodes later in the series (I remember Eva00 piloted by Rei taking the lance toward the Dogma)

Ok, this is all from memory - I haven't seen the series for quite a couple of years now

1. By using the prophecies fouond in the Dead Sea Scrolls.
2. I forget exactly - something to do with Adam...actually come to think of it I thought Gendou was trying to go against the Human Instrumentality or something. Just ignore this answer - it won't help you much.
3. Third Impact would happen and the world would go boom. No, it only works with Adam cause he's 1337 and can fit in a suitcase. (well, yeah, it's somewhat self-explanatory that he didn't merge with Lilith because he couldn't)
4. The series never explains it and if that happens it's pretty safe to assume Pen-Pen did it.

Now go and watch a better anime series - There's tons out there. Concentrating on a single series too much = bad.
