In Issue #2 page 134 it says "The Deathnote will be rendered useless if the victem's name is misspelled four times.".
Now in Issue #1 page 38 we see a flashback of Light useing the note to kill a biker who's harassing this chick. Light spells the guys name 6 times, obviously one of those spellings is correct, but that leaves 5 incorrect spellings.
So shouldn't Light's Deathnote have been completely useless during the entire series?
Also in Issue 6 page 140 it says "If a Deathnote owner accidentally misspells a name four times, that person will be free from being killed by the Deathnote. However, if they intentionally misspell the name four times, the deathnote owner will die."
So from this one could conclude Light's deathnote is useless, the biker's death was a total coincidence and so are all of the other deaths Light has invoked, right?
Oh and one last question, What happens to the deathnote user when they eventually die? Ryuk said that the user can neither go to heaven or hell, so where do they go?
