For instance:
1.Earlier Gundam Series
2.Weiß Kreuz
3.Elfen Lied
4.Fullmetal Alchemist
and moar.
Recent episode of Bleach anime, One of the Bounto started the ritual of opening the Senkai gate by reciting a German enchant.

I never get tired of those funny, random english lang. references though. How much English does the average Japanese know anyway? To me, it seems there is more and more of it as time passes (like in titles of anime/manga, jokes, etc.)

Foreign always attracts due to the mystery of the unknown for it.
Why german and not france. I have no idea why it is so. But I don't mind it beeing german, at least I can understand that :D (as a dutch person)
