It's supposedly for adults, which means you don't have to feel THAT bad for watching a children's show.

It's manga targeted for 15-30 year olds, opposed to shounen manga which is targeted towards younger teens and under.
Look for titles from magazines such as
-Anything that starts with "Young" (Young Jump, Young Magazine, etc.)
-Afternoon
-Morning
-Evening
-IKKI
-Big Comic magazines (Big Comic, Big Comic Spirits, Big Comic Superior, etc.)
It's recommended so much because most shounen manga these days are garbage.

coz most shonen manga are keep on repeating stuff
people who had enough shonen would look for more variety
seinen manga has more individualised styles and stories
but it's a bigger mess there, some seinen manga are elite and some are waste-of-time materials if you are not into them.
