I have only watched the Anime, It was good. Like to buy the manga when it comes out over here in the fall

Also the music in the anime sounds... not so good. It feels so out of place.

The ED was awesome though.

I love how it was decided by vip that the anime would be "The next big thing that all the cool kids on 4chan will LOVE and we will all be flooding /b/ with" - before the first episode came out.

First episode leads you to beleive that this is a love comedy.

nhk is kind of the dark, hopeless version of genshiken. i don't know how much of that comes out in the anime though, haven't seen.

The anime is like the manga without the funny, and I think we can all agree that NHK's drama isn't exactly it's strong point.

From the hype, I was expecting brilliance, but I got only mediocrity so far.  NHK just seems to be trying too damn hard.  I'll try another episode or two, but something tells me I won't make it to the end of the series - I just don't like or care about either of the 2 main characters introduced so far.

I haven't read the manga yet, but I'm enjoying the show so far. The production values are pretty good, and the music adds a lot to the atmosphere. Also, it's new, and I haven't seen much new anime in awhile. (New in Japan, I mean. Anime I've already seen most of the better stuff that's new in America)

Also, he Genshiken manga rocks! Unfortunately Kinokuniya Books only has volumes 1-5 in Japanese. >___>
