One Piece is one of those series that's kinda cute and fun to watch if it happens to be on TV and you have nothing better to do, but it isn't worth downloading or actively watching.
One Piece, just like Naruto, Bleach and DBZ, is aimed at a demographic of young boys aged between around 10 to 14. If you're older than that, and not retarded, then I'm not surprised you think it blows.
i think it's a great series, but gets boring sometimes, just like other shonen jump style anime, like naruto, bleach, dbz, etc.
oh, and if you've only watched the first episode, i assure you it gets WAY better than that.
