I started watching this (up to 8), and this is pretty badass. Too bad the art style looks corean (I'm not saying it's bad), and the hundreds of coreans in the credits are not helping.

I remember this show... I saw the character designs and immediately lost interest. Giving it another shot.

i dl'd eps 1 and 2 because the blurb mentioned it was about Mahjong and i was all "Yay! Like Hikaru no Go, except with Mahjong!". the character designs disconcerted me, and after watching the episode i discovered it was nothing at all like HnG. i was, however, hopelessly hooked to the series by the end of episode two.

Yeah, after watching to 11, I must admit that Akagi is kick and ass. It reminds me more of Yugioh... except badass. Like, that punk that got shot... that was a penalty game.
