Black anime characters

I've personally never seen a black anime character.  Do they exist?

Do afros really count? I mean Keroro Gunso had a fro! Heh. Afro Gunso! But seriously, in Double Zeta Gundam whole episodes took place in Africa and several involved an African Liberation Front.
