Black anime characters

I've personally never seen a black anime character.  Do they exist?

If you think about it black people are only used to make sure that the auidence in japan who's not japanese can see that there race is being used on anime. yourichi is not black she' burned tanned. Blacks are not much well known or familiar in anime, thats why god created Boondocks, yeah i'm black (laughs) just like to point that out.
