Black anime characters

I've personally never seen a black anime character.  Do they exist?

Methinks, the diversity (in terms of Facial features) you see in Tokyo is just amazing.  They have big/narrow eyes, slanted/downward-slanted eyes, fair/dark skin, straight/nappy hair.. you name it.
Culturally it may be quite homogeneous, but racially
it's been a melting pot or something.
