bleach -- keep going?

well -- i'm stuck on bleach 13.  i've tried to watch it like 4 or 5 times now, i watch about 10 seconds and i just turn it off.  should i just force it and hope bleach pulls out of this tailspin of ennui, or give up now?  anyone seen 14/read the manga?

Yes, more than just kids read shounen jump & watch the anime for those shows.  I am 20, and watch/read them and enjoy them a lot.  However, they are made with an audience of kids/preteens in mind.  Therefore, they probably won't live up to your expectations if you're expecting Count of Monte Cristo when you watch it.
