Favorite Anime

Id like to know what are peoples favorite animes... just to get an idea about which are the most popular ones... My favorite is GITS sac 2nd GiG.

I have absolutely NOOO idea why would somebody like "FLCL", a pointless and (surprise!) popular OVA. I watched it, not only was I not impressed, but I was so disgusted by one particular scene in it. How I regret i ever watched such crap!
